Alternative Super-kit with rigid Flywheel for RAV4 II and AVENSIS CDT220, 1CD-FTV engine

On the European market there is a new Super-kit supplied by third parties which is wrongly presented as an alternative to our genuine Super-kit AISIN/TOYOTA with Dual Mass Flywheel: SKT-303 (ex SKT-216A).

This "alternative" is in fact a clutch kit with a rigid flywheel instead of a Dual Mass one.

Please remember that:

1. This "alternative" kit cannot be fitted on our Dual Mass Flywheel AISIN/TOYOTA FDT-002.
2. Our original AISIN/TOYOTA FDT-002 is designed to damp the high vibrations generated by the engine and cope with the Torque output.
3. The "alternative" Disc (with springs instead of genuine rigid disc) and the "alternative" Cover can only cope with part of the Torque generated by the engine.
4. In term of performance, they are sub-standard products.
5. The lack of Dual Mass Flywheel generates vibrations that make driving a noisy and uncomfortable experience.
6. The vibrations transmitted by that sub-standard kit (with rigid Flywheel) generate excessive wear of the gearbox components.
7. The customer exposes himself to high expenses that might come as a consequence of the use of such sub-standard product, not equivalent to OE products.

AISIN informs that we do not take any responsability for the choice of such products, even if on of our products (the Cover) is unproperly included in that "alternative" rigid Flywheel super kit.

AISIN being a supplier of TOYOTA can only reject such alternatives which are against our technical principles of careful product selection and safety of the user.

AISIN EUROPE was present at the 20th edition of Automechanika in Frankfurt from the 16th to the 21st of September 2008

During six days, as a proactive supplier of value, AISIN EUROPE exhibited at Automechanika by reinforcing its "Meet the AISIN Family" concept and showing its full range of products.

Inter Cars Exhibition Fairs in Warsaw – September 7^th to 9^th, 2007

AISIN EUROPE was present at the 7^th edition of the yearly exhibition fair for spare parts, tools and garage equipment organized by Inter Cars in Warsaw, Poland.

150 major worldwide manufacturers of spare-parts for cars and trucks exhibited on 10,000 m² area and welcomed 13,000 visitors in two days.

The aim of AISIN EUROPE participation to this fair exhibition was to reinforce its “Aisin Family” brand image and to introduce its full range of products among its well-known partners and customers as well as to show its proximity to the regional wholesale distributors in Poland.

AISIN EUROPE put emphasis on its new clutch product line for European cars as well as on its other products like Dual Mass Fly Wheel, brake pads and automatic transmission drives.

Meetings hold with the existing distributors and some new prospects are showing real potential and good perspectives for the expansion of the AISIN EUROPE presence in Poland on the after market. This is indeed connected with the growing demand for Asian cars on the domestic but also on the export neighborhood markets.

02/07/2007 :

AUTOPROMOTEC - Bologna (Italy) - May 23rd to 27th, 2007

AISIN EUROPE (AE) was present at the bi-annual show AUTOPROMOTEC which was held last May in Italy. This show hosted 1404 exhibitors in 11 pavilions ( 110.000 meter sq. ). A total of 99.182 visitors attended the show, with a big focus on the Italian internal market.

The purpose of AE participation to this show was to take the market pulse and consolidate partnerships with regional wholesale distributors by meeting them in the booths of our 2 appointed AISIN dealers: FIDI Ricambi and International Automotive Parts (IAP). Before attendance, AE provided image and branding guidelines to our 2 AISIN distributors.

Both partners exhibited samples of the AISIN European clutch disc technology ( 2-spring discs ), and the European clutch project was promoted to regional visitors. 

AE also met industrial partners (local manufacturers and remanufacturers) for business consolidation and market survey for new projects in the pipeline.

Next Italian show will be AUTOMECHANIKA-Italy ( January 31st - February 3rd, 2008 ) where we will support our partners.

AISIN EUROPE will exhibit at EQUIP AUTO 2007. The show will be held at Paris-Nord Exhibition Centre from October 15th to 20th, 2007.

MOTORTEC SHOW - Madrid 9-13 May 2007

AISIN EUROPE participated to the Spanish after-market show by supporting directly our local distributor, EXCLUSIVAS BCN.

On 46.000sqm, more than 1900 brands represented by 804 distribution companies from 22 countries exhibited at the show.

Every 2 year, MOTORTEC is the meeting-place for all companies willing to expand their activities in the spanish peninsula. Spanish market is worth 31.700 Euro turnover per year, in car parts, accessories, tooling & equipment (half is exported).

AISIN EUROPE fulfilled 3 main objectives at the show:

• Take the pulse of local competition by meeting regional customers.
• Meet Canary Islands distributors who traveled to the show to meet AE’s representative.
• Investigate ATF sales opportunities.

2007 is definitely  a promising year in Spain.

AUTOMECHANIKA ISTANBUL - April 19th - 22nd, 2007

From April 19th to April 22nd - 2007, over 550 exhibitors from more than 30 countries attended the show and 25.000 visitors came to TUYAP convention centre, for this exhibition covenring more than 10.962 m² floor space.

AUTOMECHANIKA Istanbul is the gateway to the Turkish market as well as the neighbouring countries, including countries from Mid-East, Caucasus and Central Asia.

AISIN EUROPE attended the show by supporting ILKERLER OTOMOTIV during this fair.

AISIN EUROPE had 3 main objectives when attending the show:

• Promote the brand and the image of the products
• Support our partner: ILKERLER OTOMOTIV
• Evaluate new opportunities for the AISIN brand and products on the Turkish market

These 3 main objectives were fulfilled thanks to the active co-operation from our partner.
