Bearing

Clutch_bearing_620x360.jpg

Clutch release bearing is pushing the diaphragm spring finger when the clutch pedal is depressed during the gear shifting.
When the clutch pedal is depressed, the release fork will press the clutch cover to interrupt the power transmission between engine and gearbox.

The clutch bearing always rotates at the same speed as the crankshaft; furthermore axial load is applied to the release bearing during shifting.
