AT Solenoid

Automatic transmissions are using solenoid to change gears. Each time the gear need to be engaged, the ECU is sending signal to the electro-mechanical valve which directs the transmission fluid.

The principal ECU collects the data and activates the correct solenoid to execute the correct upshift/downshift. The AT solenoid is an important part to allow the transmission fluid to pass through the valve body and pressurize the complete system.
